My name is Ikra, and I am an instructor at Darz Driving School.

Driving has always been a strong passion of mine, and since joining the team at Darz Driving School, I have found great fulfilment in my work. I take pride in teaching and guiding each pupil, helping them develop into confident, safe, and competent drivers.

One of my core strengths is communication — and I truly believe it’s what makes me a great instructor. It’s not just about knowing how to drive; it’s about knowing how to explain things clearly and effectively, in a way that you can understand.

Experience matters, but it’s only valuable if it can be passed on in a way that makes sense. That’s what I focus on in every lesson.

As your instructor, I’ll be with you every step of the way — whether that’s through a detailed Q&A, a full talk-through of a manoeuvre, or simply giving you the confidence to try it yourself. I’ll always adapt my teaching style to suit your individual needs, making sure you feel safe, supported, and ready for any situation.

My Car

I currently teach in a modern Toyota, a stylish and reliable automatic vehicle that’s perfect for learners of all levels. Most of my pupils find the Toyota corolla, easy to handle, and ideal for building confidence behind the wheel.

Being an automatic, the car takes away the stress of gear changes and clutch control — allowing you to focus more on road awareness, steering, and safe decision-making. This is especially helpful for nervous drivers or those who are just starting out.

The car is also equipped with a reverse camera, which makes reversing and parking much easier — especially for learners who find these manoeuvres a bit tricky. It’s a great tool that boosts confidence and helps you master reverse parking with greater ease.

With its compact size, smooth handling, and high safety standards, the Audi Q2 is a fantastic choice for learning to drive. You’ll feel supported, safe, and in control from your very first lesson.
