Ivana believes that every learner is different. Rather than using the same teaching method with everyone, she adapts each lesson to the pupil’s experience, confidence, ability and preferred way of learning.

Instead of constantly telling a learner what to do, Ivana progressively uses questions, prompts, demonstrations and guided practice, reducing support as the learner becomes more capable.
A typical lesson includes a clear goal and opportunities for the pupil to self-evaluate their driving. Ivana may ask learners to rate their confidence or performance, explain why they chose that score and identify what they could do differently next time. This helps learners take greater responsibility for their own development.
